Front Porch Revamp: Wicker Furniture Before and After

I have inherited a hundred year old wicker furniture set from my Grandma that I had tried to use in my home for years because of it's history and love.  Finally after a tremendous amount of TLC I have it proudly on display on the front porch of my new home.

Nothing a little elbow grease, ok a LOT of sanding, power washing, wire brushing, etc, couldn't take care of.  I found a pretty awesome gray spray paint perfect for outdoor wicker furniture and some gorgeous coordinating outdoor fabric to reupholster the cushions in bold geometrics.  Plus the cute pillows right?  Love that I can change the style yet again in a few years if geometric prints ever go out of style (hope not).

My Laundry Closet Makeover: Before & After

So I love a good before and after.  For once I finally remembered to take a before picture so I decided to document it here in case any one should ever search for a laundry room makeover.  I am particularly proud of this one, and it makes my daily laundry gig that much easier when surrounded by glamorous Elitis Kandy Brit pop wallpaper.

The shelves were installed TODAY, hence my excitement here.  They are from Desq, which I would liken to a California Closet type of company but with a more modern vibe.  They also did my master closet which I need to document at some point because I'm house proud of that too.
